The Structured Interview is very much different with the usual classic job interview. This is one of the key exercises in the EPSO Assessment Centre. In this type of interview, candidates are already prepared which competency is being tested. This gives the candidates time to adapt and structure their answer because they are already aware of the style and type of questions to be asked by the assessors.
In this structured interview, candidates are asked questions based on the competencies identified by EPSO and the candidate has to focus on that competency unlike in the classic job interview where candidates have to answer anything about their past situation to demonstrate what level they possess a given competency.
